NOTABLE HIGHLIGHTS ACROSS THESE STUDIES:
Hanyan (GB4) is commonly used in acupuncture to treat various conditions, including pain, neurological disorders, respiratory problems, and gynecological issues.
Acupuncture at Hanyan (GB4) may be effective in reducing symptoms of several conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, postherpetic neuralgia, shoulder-hand syndrome, menopausal syndrome, facial paralysis, irritable bowel syndrome, low back pain, depression, tinnitus, and headache.
Hanyan (GB4) is considered a key acupoint for treating pain and is often used in combination with other acupoints to achieve better therapeutic effects.
Acupuncture at Hanyan (GB4) may work by regulating the nervous system, improving blood circulation, and promoting the release of endorphins and other natural pain-relieving substances in the body.
Acupuncture at Hanyan (GB4) is generally well-tolerated with minimal adverse effects reported in these studies.
However, further research is needed to confirm the effectiveness of acupuncture at Hanyan (GB4) for these conditions, and to determine the optimal treatment protocol and long-term outcomes.
